    Muchas gracias.

    Hi GEAInfo,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, storage space may be used not only by visible files in active or inactive forms, but also by items such as archived submissions, temporary files, or data that hasn’t been fully removed from the system yet.

To help you manage and free up space, I recommend reviewing the following:

    • Check the Submissions Trash: Deleted submissions remain in the trash for 30 days and continue to occupy space until they are permanently purged.
    • Archived Files and Submissions: Even if not visible in the main inbox, archived submissions and their associated files can still take up space.
    • Delete and Purge Submissions with Attachments: To actually free up space, it is necessary to delete and then purge submissions that contain file uploads.

If you suspect a large ZIP or backup file has been uploaded, it may be associated with archived submissions or temporary data that isn't directly visible in your forms. Also check if there are any archived or deleted submissions that might still be using space.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi GEAInfo,

I understand that you don’t have a visible way to review what’s taking up space in your account and that you need help identifying it. In Jotform, although a detailed breakdown of storage usage by file or item isn’t displayed, you can check your general usage and account limits to get an idea of the space being used.

    1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right side of the page, and then click on Settings.

Under the Usage tab on the left, and beside the Monthly Usage section, you’ll see your limit reset date.

To free up space, you’ll need to permanently delete (purge) submissions with file attachments, including those in the trash or archived folders. You can easily delete your trashed submissions in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.

To avoid permanently losing submission data, it’s recommended to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF. Purging deleted submissions will free up your Submission Storage and Upload Space but won’t affect other limits. You can also check out our guide about Account Usage and Limits for more information.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
