    Quedamos atentos.

    Muchas gracias,

    Saludos

    Good morning,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again. Now, coming back to your question, both Jotform and Google Forms offer great tools for creating forms, but Jotform stands out in several key areas that could make it a better fit depending on your specific needs. Here’s a breakdown of the main differences:

    • Customization & Templates: Jotform offers over 10,000 customizable templates and 1,000+ themes, giving you much more flexibility in design. In comparison, Google Forms offers only 17 templates with limited customization options.
    • Advanced Features: Jotform provides advanced capabilities like payment integrations (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), e-signatures, custom thank-you pages, and automatic email notifications. These features are not available on Google Forms.
    • Conditional Logic: Jotform has a powerful conditional logic system that allows you to show, hide, and calculate values in your forms. Google Forms offers a simpler version with section skipping but cannot perform calculations or personalize submission pages.
    • Integrations: Jotform integrates with over 150 apps and supports a wide range of tools, including CRMs and email platforms. Google Forms supports add-ons, but the integration options are more limited.
    • Security & Compliance: Both platforms are GDPR-compliant, but Jotform offers additional HIPAA compliance on certain paid plans, which may be crucial for healthcare-related organizations. Additionally, Jotform provides unique encrypted forms with access codes, offering stronger security for sensitive data.
    • Reporting & Submissions Management: Jotform has an advanced report builder and submissions management system (Jotform Tables), which makes organizing and analyzing responses easier. Google Forms has basic reporting capabilities tied to Google Sheets.
    • Mobile App & Kiosk Mode: Jotform offers a mobile app and Kiosk Mode for collecting responses in-person, which Google Forms lacks.

In conclusion, if you need more advanced features, higher customization options, and a broader range of integrations, Jotform is the better choice. Google Forms, however, is a great free tool for basic form creation. For more information, you can check out this guide.
