I also show you how the PDF link was added to the opportunities area in the salesforce integration. As you can see in the image what is marked in yellow It is the shipment id, it would be very efficient for the jotrform shipment id field to have the entire link enabled so that the pdf can be downloaded in the salesforce opportunities area

    Hi brandoncasa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. It is currently not possible to generate the PDF link and pass it to the integration as the submission ID is only created once the user clicks on submit. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi Brandon,

We are excited to announce that it’s now possible to send file uploads, submission PDFs, and signed documents to Salesforce along with other e-signature data with our improved Salesforce integration. Let’s do it:

Sending File Uploads & Submission PDFs to Salesforce

    • In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    • Click on Integrations from the left panel and select Salesforce.
    • Continue with the authentication, and select Create or update a record.
    • Select your Salesforce Object and match the object fields with your form fields.

    • Toggle ON the Attachments option at the bottom to select File Uploads and one of the available PDF templates from your form and save your integration. That’s it.

Selected files can be reached from the Notes & Attachments section of the relevant record on Salesforce.

For files larger than 20MB, you can download them by clicking on the URL sent by Jotform.

    Sending Signed Documents to Salesforce

You can follow the same steps above to continue with your Salesforce authentication. Except, this time you can either select Signed Document or Signed Document with Audit Trail option to attach your documents to the relevant Salesforce record.

Likewise, sent documents can be reached from the Notes & Attachments section of the relevant record.

For HIPAA-enabled documents, due to regulations, the form owner should set a password for the document and all parties need to enter the password to access the final document. In this case, the selected document will be zipped before it’s sent to Salesforce.

Through the integration logs, you can track and manage the file attachment errors.
