    Buenos días.

He insertado un mapa en una plantilla de correo de autorrespuesta mediante HTML en uno de nuestros formularios, concretamente con este código de iframe

    <p><iframe style="border: 0;" src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d6340.190495658008!2d-6.0019627999999985!3d37.38757969999999!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0xd126c130488923d%3A0x28e98623b929aaaa!2sMercado%20Lonja%20del%20Barranco!5e0!3m2!1ses!2ses!4v1714008289691!5m2!1ses!2ses" width="600" height="450" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></p>

y está visible en el editor, pero no aparece en los correos enviados a las personas que responden al formulario, ni tampoco en los de prueba que nos enviamos.

¿Seríais tan amables de ayudarnos, por favor?

    Muchas gracias.

    Hi Jorge,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I created a form from scratch, embedded your code to the Notification Email, and was able to replicate the issue. Check out my screenshot below to see my results:

I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developer team. Although we don't know exactly when the issue will be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi Jorge,

Thanks for getting to us. I checked your issue and I replicate it. But most of the email clients do not support the iframe tag. This means you cannot embed external content directly within an email using an iframe. Here's why:

    • Security: If an iframe could load any content, it could potentially contain malicious scripts or code, posing a security risk to the recipient.
    • Rendering issues: Email clients prioritize text and basic formatting. If an iframe relies on specific JavaScript or other functionalities, it may not display correctly or at all.
    • Spam filters: Due to the security concerns, email providers often block iframes, flagging emails containing them as potential spam.

For the solution, you can use add link to the email body for redirecting users to map location, or you can add map's screenshot as an image into the email body.

Let us know if you need for more help.
