Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen

    Hallo Support Team,

    Hi geraldzettner,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate. However, you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Coming back to your question, I checked your form 242684135715358, but I could not find any conditional logic on this form. Can you share the link to the form in question so that we can check it?

Also, can you share more details about what you are trying to achieve on your form? Please share which fields you want to copy and which part of the form you want the copied field to appear.

Once we have a better idea of what you are trying to do, we can move forward with a solution.

    Hi Joshua,

thank you for your answer. The form you mentioned is correct. The data on the first page will then be inserted into the text on pages 2 and 3, for example. However, I would like the information on page 1 not to be displayed, but only the contract from page 2 onwards.

I hope I have been able to describe the problem well.

    Hi Gerald,

When setting page 1 or fields of it to hide, a user will not be able to fill these filed out anymore. Can you clarify who is filling out these fields on page 1? You only or also your users? Also, where you want to hide it? When opening the form etc.?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

    Hi Andreas,

the fields on page 1 are only filled in by me. The contract should then be sent to the customer for signature, but without the fields on page 1.

    Hi Gerald,

Let me show you how to hide the form fields on the first page and how to use the manual prefill feature.

    1. In Form Builder click on a form field on the first page.
    2. Click on the appearing Gear icon right beside.
    3. Go to the Tab Advanced and toggle the option Hide Field on.

Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen Image 1 Screenshot 60Repeat these steps for all other fields on the page 11 you want to hide. Now let's create a manual prefill:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Publish.
    2. Click on
Prefill on the left side of the screen.
    3. Select Manual Prefill.

Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen Image 2 Screenshot 714. Click on Add a new Prefill.

Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen Image 3 Screenshot 825. Enter the details of the user on the first page.
    6. Click Create at the top right.

Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen Image 4 Screenshot 93You can now copy the prefill URL and send it to your users.

Daten im Formular vorbefüllen und verbergen Image 5 Screenshot 104That's it. We also have a guide about How to Prefill a Form With Manual Prefill that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
