How can user upload files from their Google Drive?

Hello.

We have a request for absence form that teachers submit when they will be away from school. There is an upload button for them to submit their lesson plans but they are not able to access their Google drive from this widget. They all use Google drive and it is a bit awkward for them to upload a file from their phones.

If you want to let your users upload their files directly from Google drive while filling the form, then you will need to use the File Uploader by Uploadcare widget on your form. At the moment only this widget allows your user to upload files from Google drive.

I did find the info I needed, but a credit card is requested to upload more than just images, so we will not be using it after all.

Thank you for getting back to us. Unfortunately, as mentioned by my colleague, at the moment only this widget (powered by Uploadcare) allows your user to upload files from Google drive. Unfortunately, a direct Jotform - Google Drive widget you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We've gone ahead and escalated a feature request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
