    Hi Hugo,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The maximum individual file size allowed is 1GB (1048576 KB). Even if you set the file upload limit higher in settings, the system will still restrict each file to a maximum of 1GB. Additionally, the maximum recommended number of file uploads per submission is 25 files. Jotform will not accept a 26th file in a single submission.

Therefore, it is not possible to upload a single file larger than 1GB using the file upload field in Jotform. You may consider splitting larger files into smaller parts or using alternative file transfer methods if you need to handle files larger than 1GB.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Do the files uploaded to Dropbox count towards your total file storage?

    Hi Hugo,

If you integrate your form with Dropbox, yes, files uploaded through a Jotform form to Dropbox still count toward your Jotform storage limit. To free up space, you need to delete the submissions with those files from your Jotform account. The files will stay in your Dropbox. But, before you delete those files to free up your space limit. We recommend downloading your data in Tables. You can easily download your data from Jotform Tables as a CSV, Excel, or PDF file. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Tables page, hover over the form whose data you want to download, and click on View Table.
    2. On the upper-right side of the page, click the on Download All button.
    3. Now, select Download as CSV, Excel, or PDF to download your data.

Once you downloaded the submission, you can now delete and purge them. You can easily delete your trashed submissions in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.
