On my form's Data/Submissions table, I am trying to include a column with the submission URL. I have my participants review and update their forms annually. Your support AI agent gave me a formula to include in the custom column but its not working. I feel like it may be related to the fact that the Submission ID field doesn't show in the column section of the Advanced Formula but whatever the cause, I don't know how to fix it.
Also, how do I ensure the edit submission link is in the respondent's confirmation email?

Hi gsgctroop1480,
I understand you're trying to add a column to your submission table that generates the Edit Submission URL for each entry, which is a great way to let your participants review and update their submissions annually. You've set up the correct formula syntax:
"https://jotform.claystructures.co/edit/" & {submission_id}
However, the issue you're running into is due to a current limitation in Jotform Tables. The built-in Submission ID field isn’t accessible within formula columns, even though it’s visible in the table. This causes the formula to return #ERROR! because the system field isn't recognized by the formula engine. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll return to this thread and let you know.
In the meantime, include the Edit Link in confirmation emails if you'd like each respondent to receive their personalized edit link automatically. You can easily set up an Autoresponder Email, enabling people to edit their submission later. It's easy, let's do it:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
3. Hover your mouse over your Autoresponder and click on the Pencil icon to customize it.
4. Click on the Email Content window, then click on Form Fields, and select Edit Link.
5. Customize the Edit Link the way you want, and when you're finished, click on Save on the bottom-right side of the Email Content window.
After submitting the form, submitters will receive an email like the one below. Once they click on it, they'll be able to edit their submission:
