Also, if I have several different people accessing this form, how is it private so they don't see each other's data?

    Hi Felicia,

By default, only you as the form owner will have access to your form's submission data. If you're trying to prevent submitter 1 from receiving data of submitter 2 on the Autoresponder Email, we can customize the Autoresponder Email and remove the respective fields from each templates. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab on the orange navigation bar at the top, and click Emails on the left side panel.
    2. Next, hover your mouse over one of your Autoresponder Email and click on the Pen icon.

    3. Click on the Row not relevant to the recipient of the current Autoresponder Email and click on the Delete Row button.
    4. Click Save, and repeat the same for other Autoresponder Emails.

If that's not exactly how you're trying to share your form or your user's data, can you explain a bit more so we can understand your flow and help you better? We also have a guide on How to Edit Notification and Autoresponder Emails that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

I might not have been clear with my explanation. I have approx 10 different people filling out this form weekly. Can they access the forms via an app on iPad/cell phone? Would they need a login or specific way to access the forms?

    Hi Felicia,

It depends on whether the form is set to Public, Private, or Company. If it's set to Public, anyone with the direct form link can access it. You can Set Your Form’s Access Settings to Private. This means that only people who you invite can access your form after they sign into their Jotform Account. It’s easy to set up. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Click on Settings, then select Private Form in the window that opens.
    3. Now, return to the Quick Share settings and enter the email addresses of the people you want to send the form to.
    4. Click on Submit & View to select the permission type, and then click on Send Invitation. That’s it.

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Click on Form Settings in the menu on the left side of the page.

    3. Enable the Password Protection feature.
