How to send a birthday reminder email?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To be sure, are you trying to send a reminder email a day before the user's birthday? If yes, let me show you how to do it:

First, you'll need to add two Date Picker fields, one for the birthday and another one for the day before the birthday:

Then, we'll set up an Update/Calculate Field condition to insert a date value to the Day before the birthday field based on the value of the Birthday field:

1. In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top of the page.

2. Click on Conditions on the left.

3. Select Update/Calculate Field from the options.

4. Add the condition as seen below:

Here's what happens in the backend:

Next, we'll set up an Autoresponder Email and schedule it to be sent on the value of the field Day before the birthday:

1. In the Form Builder, click on Settings at the top of the page.

2. Click on Emails on the left.

3. Click the Add Email button.

4. Select Autoresponder Email.

5. Add a custom Email Subject.

6. Delete the default Email Content and add your own.

7. Go to the Advanced tab.

8. Under the Send Email Later, select dayBefore, which is the Date Picker field for Day before birthday.

9. Click Save.
