Hi,
I created an employee assessment form that I need to save and edit for multiple different employees. I have enabled the Save and Continue Later on Forms option, but I am not able to save drafts for each employee. How can this be done?
Thanks
Sunny

Hi Sunny,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can use the Manual Prefill method, create multiple save drafts, and submit them when you're done. Let me show you how to do that:
- In the Form Builder, go to the Publish section.
- Click on Prefill option.
- Select the Manual Prefill feature.
- Click on Add a new Prefill button.
- Fill out the form fields you want and click on Create button to save the data.
- Here's what it looks like with 3 saved users on my Manual Prefill page.
You need to submit it to complete or save the submission to your Jotform Tables. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Thank you! I've tried the prefill option to draft multiple versions of the same form. However, when accessing the different prefilled form draft and selecting the option "Continue with draft , I seem to be encountering the same prefilled draft the one with the name "William Rojas."
Please advise why I'm not able to access the different prefilled options?

Hi Sunny,
I checked the prefill link you shared to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see the result:
You can also include a screen recording of what’s happening so we can trace how the issue occurs. You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Hi Reban,
It seems that when you open the links, you do not get the below prompt. When selecting pre-filled forms, we get the following pop-up and after selecting "Continue with draft" it takes us back to the last edited version of the form, not that specific pre-filled form that was saved previously. I created a video to show you what I mean. As you can see, I selected Prefilled form 'Test 1' but it took me to Pre-filled form for 'Test 3.' It seems as though it's only recognizing one pre-filled form, or I cannot make edits to multiple pre-filled forms and save my changes on each one distinctly.
Essentially the requirements are as follows :
We need to be able to save drafts of each pre-filled form.
We need to be able to be able to access the pre-filled form containing the edits that were last saved on that specific pre-filled form and continue to edit and save. Essentially pick up where we last left off on that specific form.
Each pre-filled form needs to be distinct and separate from one another
Please let me know if this is clear.

Hi Sunny,
I cloned your form and I noticed that you enabled the Save Form and Continue Later feature. That's the reason the form is asking to Discard or Continue with Draft.
As the form owner, if you want to update the Prefill form data, please use the Manual Prefill edit link. If the user already receive the Edit link invitation, they can fill up the form and use the Save feature.
Do you want to edit their saved submission? Or do you want to add more prefill data to their saved submission? Also, may I know if you're trying to create an approval form - both the client and form owner will fill out the form or sign the form?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for getting back. This is not an approval form per se. The form doesn't need to require signature.
This is training tracker form so we need the ability to save edits to the form and come back to it and continue to make edits as we progress with the training until it's complete and ready for submission. The edits would not be on the pre-fill portion but the rest of the form.

Hi Sunny,
Unfortunately, it's not possible to save multiple drafts for the same prefilled form under the same account. You can only proceed with a new prefilled link after completing the current pending one.
The Prefill feature is designed primarily for sending forms to multiple users, where each user can either complete the form in one go or save their progress as a draft. The draft-saving dialog will only appear within their individual accounts.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.
