    Hi Kaileen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I see that you set up multiple Skip to/Hide a Page and Show/Hide Field conditional logic. Can you share a screenshot of the problematic condition and its expected behavior? Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Support Forum:

    1. On the Support Forum page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 30

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 41 That's it. Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Is this the only way to get help with this - ?

The "Can you share a screenshot of the problematic condition and its expected behavior? Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Support Forum"

Im not sure what you mean of a screenshot of the problematic behaviour - I cant tell what's happening so I don't know what the behaviour is that's off?

While the fields are labeled - what they" do" is not as clear as it could be... and I cant tell if I'm using the wrong ask = to do what I need - or - am I overlapping formulas?

    Hi Kaileen,

I think my colleague wanted to specify which of the conditions you set up is not working on your end so we can check it and resolve the issue faster. I also checked the form on my end, and I can see that you have multiple conditions. Once you give us the specific condition, we will test it on our end and provide immediate solution. As for the screen recording, this would also help us view the issue further. You can use Loom or any screen recording platforms and send the video link here.

I checked the conditions, and it seems that you want to require some fields to be filled in when a specific state is true. Can you try turning off the Require options on the fields you used for these conditions? Do this on all affected fields. Check out the image below:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 20After that, test the form and check if the issue happens again.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi there - thanks for all the suggestions!!

I went back in deteed a bunch of stuff - and made sure i dident have multiole versipns open...

See the poorly executed video : )

Im stuck on the role question... i need to ask all the roles that apply.., but that causes 2 issues:

1 - I had to do it in a grid - because if I dont I cant filter on the reponses - the way the tables group answers togther is annoying ( and the comma thing dident work) so i reverted to a a table

    But its ugly

2 - There are 3 optional pages - to use if they selected these roles - coach/trainer page 9 EQ Facility Page 12 and EC Licensed Official page 10.. I have the logic working if your not any of these - what I cant work out it what if you not 2 of the 3 but you are a coahc and a rider...

Zoom me if we can if thats confusing??

Test Collapse OEA Survey Draft MAR 12

    Hi Kaileen,

Upon inspection, the first iteration of your form had the Input Table columns as Checkboxes, while your Test Collapse OEA Survey Draft MAR 12 as Radio Buttons. The latter worked because your conditions are set up in a way that it only allows one selection, because if there are two options selected in the conditions that you have set up, there will conflict in the conditions. This is because some conditions will cancel each other out. See following screenshot for example:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 60In case the input types are checkboxes, both Coach/Trainer and Equestrian can be selected. But, if Equestrian is selected, the Question for Coaches is hidden which is supposed to be displayed when Coach/Trainer is selected. With that said, if you want to go back to using checkboxes, updates should be done on the conditions where you Show the fields that are related to the option if they are selected instead of hiding anything else. This, in default, will hide that field if the option is not selected. Let me show you how:

    1. Select the Roles Input Table, and click on the Gear icon.
    2. Hover your cursor to any of the Conditions, and click the Pencil button to update it.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 71

Change the Coach/Trainer condition to the following:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 3 Screenshot 82

    For the Equestrian:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 4 Screenshot 93

    For the EC Licensed official:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 5 Screenshot 104

Keep doing the updates for each condition, only showing which questions and pages are for the selection, making sure to include the Page Break element as well. Here is my clone form which you can check and clone.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello Kaileen,

If I understood it correctly, you want to limit the entry for the Input Table Element wherein if one is selected from these three options it locks the rest?Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 30

If so, unfortunately, it's not possible to set this condition on an Input Table Element. An Input Table Element can only have these If Conditions and not a specific value:Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 41

Alternatively, you can use a Radio Button on your Input Table Element to only allow one selection for that row but since you require showing other fields based on selection, we suggest you use the Single or Multiple Choice Element individually on this question so you can add a specific If Statement.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

Great breakdown of the SensePass integration! Having multiple payment options, including contactless and crypto, is a game-changer for online businesses. The ability to collect donations and process subscriptions directly within Jotform makes it even more versatile.

    Hi Kaileen,

While we don’t have specific data on how SensePass handles high-volume transactions, the integration is designed to process payments efficiently across multiple payment methods, including contactless and cryptocurrency. Since SensePass is built for seamless and secure transactions, it should be capable of handling scaling needs for businesses with high transaction volumes.

We don’t currently offer live phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread, or you can create a forum thread from the Contact Us page. We’ll be happy to help. Hi Kaileen,

To select just one selection in your Input Table, as suggested by Myla, choose Radio Button as its Input Type just like as seen below:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 110

Then implement a Skip to/ Hide a Page Conditional Logic, this is to easily show and hide form fields depending on the selection made in Field 8. Keep in mind that I've removed the conditions linked to Field 8 and Field 24, and then set up new conditions as seen below:

    1. Add a Form Calculation Widget, set up the formula as follows, and then hide the widget.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 121

    2. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    3. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.

    4. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Skip to/Hide a Page.

The rider level is THE ONLY field where they can only select one.

The role field was select all.

This is why I offered to clarify just in case it was not super obvious

Also - now I only have FOUR roles - you edited my original survey...??? I had 9 roles... now you reduced it to 4 and took away the select all

    Hi Kaileen,

I have cloned this version of your form, and updated the conditions for the Role Input Table to Skip To/Hide A Page, as there was an issue regarding pages not showing up properly. Let me show you how:

First, I have disabled the following conditions:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 130
Next, create three Skip To/Hide A Page for each column that has a dedicated page for it. For EC Licensed Officials:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 141
    Equestrian:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 3 Screenshot 152
    Coach/Trainer:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 4 Screenshot 163
As for the Group Input Table, I suggest using the Radio Button input type, since you only need one selection from the user. Here's how to update it:

    1. Click the Gear icon of the Input Table.
    2. Go to the Fields Tab, and select Radio Button.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 5 Screenshot 174
Next, I used a Form Calculation widget to get the value of the said input table, to use it for the condition, since I wasn't able to make it work by using the table directly. Here's how:

    1. Click on the Add Element button.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 6 Screenshot 185

    2. Go to the Widgets Tab, and add the Form Calculation widget to your form.
    3. Click on the Wand icon.
    4. Click on the Add Field to add the Input Table in the calculation field, and make sure to click it once, so that it shows the A-Z icon with the gray background.
    5. Click on Save.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 7 Screenshot 196
I recommend hiding the widget, you can follow the steps below:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 8 Screenshot 207Next, disable the conditions that are linked to the Input Table (Which of ONE of the...):

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 9 Screenshot 218
Lastly, create three conditions to hide the pages based on the value of the Form Calculation widget (named as Description in my clone form):

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 10 Screenshot 229

    Hi Kaileen,

Unfortunately, it appears that your reply wasn't complete. Aside from the screenshots not being properly attached, some parts of your reply seem to be cut off, such as the following:

"B – On page 1 there is this question:
Respondents get to pick ONE answer
Based on their answer in the table below – they get assigned page 6 or 8 or 7"

Did you mean to include the question in there?

Also, to clarify the changes on your form now compared to when I have written my previous reply, can you confirm the following:

    1. Does the Input Table for roles (Please identify your role/roles in Ontario’s eventing community. Please identify ALL that apply), have the same behavior as before, but only has a different layout?
    2. Does the other Input Table (Which of the following competitor groups BEST describes you? Please chose ONE) have the same functionality as my clone form?

If the answer to the first question is yes, the conditions on my previous reply needs a little tweaking, since the Input Table will return the column name, which in the case of your Input Table right now, it will always return applies. Otherwise, I will be waiting for your confirmation, so we can adjust accordingly

If the answer to the second question is yes, then the condition on my reply still applies.

I also suggest going through my clone form again if the flow already fits your needs, so that if the layout is the only thing that was changed, we can apply the necessary changes to match the updates on your form.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Kaileen,

To apply conditions to the second input table on the first page, you need to make the choices in a row, not a column as you can see below to be able to apply conditions to this table.

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 1 Screenshot 40

Then, you can use the choice in your conditions to show specific pages based on your needs as mentioned in steps by my colleague Shane. Let me show you an example:

The user selects Coach P9, EC Licensed Official P10, and other options. This is what they should see in their survey:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 2 Screenshot 51 This is the result of my cloned form:

Conditional logic is not working as expected Image 3 Screenshot 62

You can check my Cloned Version for further details. You need to apply the same condition to the first table in order to show pages based on the selected answer.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
