Hello guys,
Approver comment is not being sent in the "rejected" email of the approval workflow, along with the other data in a specific branch of the conditional branch.The branch named "Teste” works fine, the approver comment is sent in the email, but the branch named "Fortaleza" does not. I am using the exact same variable: {14_comment}
When we check the "View Details" in the Submissions Box, we can see that the comment is there. Image below.So I need help getting the comment to be present in the email body, just like it is with the 'Teste’ Branch.
Thanks,
Carlos M. -

Hi Carlos,
When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened for me. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. It's really easy to fix. You just need to remove the email element and add it back again. When you add the comment, instead of choosing the + Approval Fields, use Form Fields. Let me show you how:
- In Workflow Builder, after adding the Email element back, click on the Email element to show additional options on the right side of the element.
- Click on the Mail Icon to open settings. Add a new row on your Table to have a space for the comments.
- Select Form Fields, scroll down and look for the orange Aprovação for declined approval and click on it. Then ,select Your Comment.
- Make sure that you Save the changes.
Check the results on the screenshot below:
Note that you need to require comments on your approval element so that the approver will have ample time to write the comments once they approve or decline it. Not requiring the comments will only give the approver less than 5 secs to input their comments.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hello Paolo or whoever else can help me here.
I tested the comment now for the branch named "Patrocínio” but the comment was not sent in the email. I used exactly the same one as the one in the branch that is working, which is: {f250492760350656_comment}
Can someone help me with that?

Hi Carlos,
I cloned your form to test it, and I easily replicated the issue. There is an easy fix for this. You just need to follow the steps shared by my colleague, Paolo. It seems that you'll need to do a test submission first before adding an Email element, after you've added an Approval element to your workflow. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:
That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.
