Our Test Generator will then generate the test using ChatGPT. You’ll be able to review and update the test as you see fit. You can even regenerate specific questions! Then, when you’re satisfied with the test, you can share it with your students to start collecting responses instantly on any device.

Currently, there is no option to create a single test by both entering a prompt and uploading a PDF. Depending on what type of test you want to create, you can choose between entering a prompt and uploading a document to generate your test questions.

The content ChatGPT produces is based on the datasets it’s been trained on, which may or may not be factually accurate. You should always fact-check the questions and answers the AI generates to ensure their accuracy.

Yes! When entering a prompt, tell the AI the test’s intended grade level — the AI will generate questions to match. If you’re not happy with the difficulty level of a specific question, you can always regenerate the question or manually update it using the Customize option.

The AI doesn’t provide specific insights or suggestions for improving your tests, but there are a few steps you can take to help improve the questions that the AI Test Generator creates. If you enter a prompt, be descriptive and specific about what type of test you want to create. You can include detailed information on the desired grade level, subject matter, and level of difficulty so that the AI has a better understanding of what you’re looking for. If you upload a document, make sure it’s very relevant to the subject matter and includes the information you’d like your test’s questions to reflect. Uploading only the information that you want to include in your test will help the AI generate test questions that better match your needs.

To share your test, after you generate and review it, click Share quiz. You can then decide whether to share your test with a link, an email, or a QR code. You can also assign the test to specific people, download it as a fillable PDF, or embed it in your website. Once you’ve shared your test, responses will be securely stored and easy to access in your Jotform account.
