Several older PayPal products—including PayPal Express, Pro, Invoicing, and Checkout—have already been discontinued, and PayPal Standard will be removed on December 31, 2025. To keep your payment processing running without interruptions, you’ll need to switch (not delete*) to the updated PayPal integration before then. Making the change early will ensure a smooth payment experience and help you avoid any disruptions once the legacy options are retired.
Note
To use Jotform’s PayPal integration, you’ll need a verified PayPal Business account, which also unlocks debit and credit card payments, since the credit card fields won’t appear otherwise.
Viewing Affected Forms
You can view all your affected forms through your My Workspace page. Here’s what to do:
- On your My Workspace page, in the Take Action banner at the top, click on View Forms.
- Now, in the Take Action window that opens, click on the affected form to open it in Form Builder.
Just repeat the same steps to view the other affected forms. And then click on Ok, Got it! to close the window.
Switching From an Unsupported PayPal Integration to the New One
You don’t need to delete your payment gateway to switch it. *If you delete it, all the data linked to that payment field will be lost.
For a full breakdown of how to do it, head over to our guide on How to Switch Your Payment Gateway.
For new forms, integrating with PayPal makes it easy to accept payments online without any hassle. For example, if you’re running an online store, your customers can quickly pay with their PayPal balance, debit, or credit card—no extra steps needed. It’s fast, secure, and trusted worldwide, which means more people are likely to complete their checkout, and you get paid smoothly. Check out our guide on How to Integrate Your Form With PayPal to see how to set it up.
