It’s easy to customize the tone and voice of your AI Agent, ensuring it communicates in a way that aligns with your brand and user expectations. Adjusting the tone allows you to set the right mood—whether you want the agent to be professional, friendly or casual—creating a more engaging and personalized experience for users. This customization helps your AI agent interact in a way that feels natural and consistent with your desired approach.
Customizing the Tone and Voice of your AI Agent is easy. Here’s how to do it:
- In Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on AI Persona.
- Then, click on the Tone of VoiceDropdown menu, and select from the following options:
- Friendly — This creates a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment, helping users feel comfortable and valued while fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere.
- Professional — A professional tone maintains a polished and respectful approach, providing clear guidance and expert help in a way that feels reliable and authoritative.
- Casual — Set your AI Agent to a relaxed, conversational tone that’s ideal for informal interactions and makes communication feel more laid-back and approachable.
- If you want to add a custom tone of voice, simply enter the type you want and then click on the + Add icon.
Note
Any changes made in the AI Persona section of the AI Agent Builder are saved automatically and will immediately appear in the AI Agent’s behavior and responses.
