Now, coming back to your question, the monthly usage limit refers to the maximum number of times you can use a feature every month. When you hit a monthly limit, you can either wait for your monthly usage to reset or upgrade your account to increase your limits.

The total usage limit is the allowed space or number of an item your account can use. Unlike its monthly counterpart, this usage limit type doesn’t reset and has to be managed manually. You can also upgrade your account to increase limits. You can review this guide to learn more about your plan's limitations.

The total usage limits, such as upload space and submission storage, represent the maximum amount of data or entries your account can hold overall. Unlike monthly limits, these total limits do not reset automatically and must be managed manually by you.

To manage your total usage limits, you need to delete and then purge your form submissions that include file uploads. This action will free up storage space in your account. Simply deleting submissions without purging them will not reduce your used storage space. Unfortunately, there is no way to directly reduce or decrease the storage space other than removing stored submissions and files.
