** Upon signing contract Client agrees that they will sit for entirety of services without interruption. 1 hour expected for makeup and 1 hour expected for hair.

$250 fee applies if a second stylist is needed for their travel + coordination

*If traveling is required please note there is a travel fee which allows artist to pack all necessary tools and come to your location. Minor Travel is defined as any Travel within 45 minutes of the Artist- Artist starting zip code is 98284.

Major Travel

Major Travel Flight tickets are to be purchased by the client. If you have any certain arrangement with the stylist regarding the travel plans please detail them below as you understand them:

$50 Early Start Fee

If you are not aware of getting ready time currently, artist will add this fee to final amount if required.

** Wedding Preview MUST be done at the salon located in Sedro Woolley. Wedding Previews must be scheduled within stylist's availability. If client cannot communicate or schedule a time that works for stylist schedule, the Wedding Preview will not be performed. If client fails to respond to Stylist communications in a responsive, respectful, or timely manner- stylist reserves the right to cancel Wedding Preview. Any cancellations or rescheduling of a Wedding Preview must be done within 3 days notice of scheduled Wedding Preview date or $100 fee will be incurred. Wedding Preview must be paid for in full on scheduled date on contract regardless of client error, failure to show up or miscommunications. Wedding Preview is non-refundable once added to contract.

RENTAL

$100 per extension rental

The Hair Extensions Rental Process is extremely simple-

Hair by Mathea LLC will color match you prior to your wedding day then apply the extensions on wedding day. Hair by Mathea LLC will give you a mailer to send the extensions back with the return address already on it. All you have to do is send the extensions back within 3 business days.

Please NOTE this service adds additional time to your service as well, which needs to be added to the styling schedule and considered by client upon booking.

Accent Piece $30 ADD ON we can find it together OR you choose your dream Accent Piece below and add the $ amount to the final total

If you have not yet found OR do not wish to search for the hair clip, flowers, or accent piece for your big day; Hair by Mathea LLC can help pick one that matches your wedding style and will purchase the agreed upon accent piece. Hair by Mathea LLC will follow your vision and bring the chosen Accent Piece(s) to the big day and style it into your hair.

Can also bring smaller accent pieces for you or your bridal party for day of purchase upon request.

Upon your signature and deposit, Hair by Mathea will reserve the time and date agreed upon and will not make other reservations for that time and date. The Client shall make a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total services to the said Stylist to perform the services specified herein. Deposit is to be paid once the contract is signed. IF DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED BY STYLIST within 24 hours of the contract submission, contract will automatically be made VOID. If contract is void due to lack of payment ,untimely receipt, no bookings or rebooking will be permitted. Upon payment, Stylist will reserve the time and date agreed upon by both parties. The 50% balance, to include all fees, must be paid 14 days prior to the event. A $50 fee will apply each day the payment has not been made in full after this deadline passes. No services will be provided on the scheduled day of service until full payment is made.

If Client requests to amend or cancel this agreement, a fee of $100. IF CLIENT DECIDES TO CANCEL CONTRACT FOR ANY REASON $100 FEE IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL CONTRACT. This fee covers necessary administrative and scheduling cost as well as Stylist Time Booked for that day. See Rescheduling Section below for further information regarding rescheduling. If Client cancels this agreement or fails to show for any reason, ALL payments made to Hair By Mathea shall be forfeited. Client Understands and agrees that Stylist will not book other sessions or weddings during this time- if Client does not book Full Day Fee only part of the day will be reserved upon booking. Client must be flexible with Stylist Timeline if they do not book the Full Day. In the event that Client cancels the wedding or fails to attend the Session Date, for any reason, Stylist shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain. The deposit will NOT be refunded due to client's error. UPON CLIENT CANCELLATION REQUEST- $100 CANCELLATION FEE MUST BE PAID WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO CANCEL CONTRACT. Otherwise, client is liable and responsible for stylist not booking another client on the day they wish to cancel, and remaining balance will be owed.

**THIS CONTRACT IS LEGALLY BINDING- DO NOT SIGN if you are still considering other options as there is a $100 fee to cancel the agreement completely. $150 cancellation fee also applies for any trials that are missed or canceled and not rescheduled in accordance with stylist schedule.

** FAILURE OF CLIENT TO COMMUNICATE IS CLEAE GROUNDS OF CANCELLATION OF SERVICES BY THE STYLIST. Stylist will respond and communicate during weekly business hours  as needed. Client must communicate effectively with stylist, and stylist reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time (deposit is NON REFUNDABLE) due to client unruly, irrational, or otherwise inappropriate behaviors. 

My business Hair By Mathea LLC may display and use any photographs from your event for advertising, display, website and internet promotion at our discretion. By signing this contract you consent to having your picture taken and pictures taken of any of Hair By Mathea LLC work, which can be used for business purposes.

In the event that the Client requests to reschedule their wedding, the deposit shall be applied to a rescheduled session if notice is given at least 2 months prior to the scheduled event. A $100 rescheduling fee will apply. Reschedule must be within the same calendar year. A new deposit will be required if the date change is made within 2 months before the originally agreed upon wedding date. Any Client not arriving within 15 minutes of the schedule timeline will have services cancelled for inability to perform from stylist timing. If Client moves Event date to a date Hair by Mathea LLC has already booked with another client, deposit will be kept by Hair by Mathea LLC and client will not receive the contracted services.

*HAIR BY MATHEA LLC RESERVES THE FULL RIGHT TO:

1) schedule multiple events on one day. If you do not book the "Full Day" service- you must be flexible with getting ready timing as schedule can be double booked for other events.

2) book you with any stylist on the team-However, the Stylist performing your Wedding Preview will be the Stylist performing Services in your Booked event day.

3) Cancel this contract at any time due to client poor behavior or breach of contract terms.

By signing this contract Client and any party members signed for accepting services, agree to not hold Hair by Mathea LLC liable in any way for any bodily harm that may occur during service including but not limited to burns, cuts, hair removal, etc. Hair by Mathea LLC is not liable for any property damage or venue damage that occurs during services or at salon location. Client acknowledges and accepts all responsibility for any injuries occurring on venue or event location and promises not to sue or hold Hair by Mathea LLC liable for these such injuries or damage on event days.

LIMITED WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

a. Limited Warranty. Hair by Mathea LLC warrants that it shall perform the Services in a timely and protessional manner, using Service Providers of commercially reasonable skill and experience in accordance with generally recognized standards for similar services. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY HAIR BY MATHEA LLC HAS GIVEN TO CLIENT WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.

b. Limitation Of Liability. Hair by Mathea LLC is not responsible for any illnesses or allergic reactions to. caused by among other things, cosmetics, hair products, or accessories utilized prior to, during or after an Event. It is the sole responsibility of Client, Service Recipients, and guests attending the Event to take the appropriate steps to avoid such allergic reactions and to ensure the general safety of Event guests. Hair by Mathea LLC is additionally not responsible for property.

c. IN NO EVENT SHALL HAIR BY MATHEA LLC BE LIABLE TO CLIENT. SERVICE RECIPIENTS. OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT,EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGE WAS FORESEEABLE AND WHETHER OR NOT SERVICE PROVIDER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ANY AGREED OR OTHER REMEDY OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

FORCE MAJEURE:

Neither Party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under this Agreement that is due to any of the following causes (which causes are hereinafter referred to as "Force Majeure"), to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

For the avoidance of doubt, Force Majeure shall not include (a) financial distress nor the inability of either party to make a profit or avoid a financial loss, (b) changes in market prices or conditions, or (c) a party's financial inability to perform its obligations hereunder.

In case of emergency, Hair by Mathea LLC will do everything within their power to find a Stylist to cover for the Stylist who cannot attend the event day.

Client shall:

a. Ensure that the bride, bridal party, and/ or other applicable service recipients ("Service Recipients) are present at the Event start time. with clean and fully dry hair. Any Service Recipients with wet hair or extensions will be subject to an additional fee specified in the Event details form. Any service recipient with naturally curly hair or frizz that does not wish to work with his or her natural texture will be required to have a smoothing blowout before the start time.

b. Respond promptly to any requests from Hair by Mathea LLC for instructions, information or approvals required by Hair by Mathea LLC to provide the Services.

c. Cooperate with Hair by Mathea LLC to provide, among other things, access to the applicable Event, parking space, and if necessary, assistance with carrying supplies, as required to enable Hair by Mathea LLC to provide the Services. Client will ensure that Service Providers have access to a clean, non-porous table space near an electrical outlet with lighting at Event start time.

d. Bare any and all parking expenses for Service Providers.

e. Allot Service Providers two hours to complete Bridal Hairstyle and one hour per person to complete all other hairstyles.

f. Allot Service Providers an additional 30 minutes between finish time and time hair needs to be hinished, as set forth in Event Details Form, for touch ups, if needed.

*The Contracting Party is responsible for all services contracted herein, regardless of who is to receive the services. Stylist is not responsible for inability to complete services due to lack of preparation of false information shared from Wedding Party.

Litigation. In the event of any litigation, arbitration or other action to enforce the terms of this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover his or her reasonable costs and attorney’s fees.

CHOICE OF LAW.

This Agreement and all related documents are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Washington.

*Any Special items such as Alternative Payment Methods, Extra Add ons, Major Travel Questions, Trial Runs must be mutually agreed upon between Stylist and Client prior to contract being signed and returned for booking.

I understand that this is a legally binding contract and I have read ALL fees, prices, and policies above. I agree to pay for what I have selected.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF. THE PARTIES HERETO HAVE CAUSED THIS AGREEMENT TO BE EXECUTED AS OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE FIRST ABOVE WRITTEN.
