Ferpa Release Form
The Ferpa Release Form is a form that is used by the student for consenting to the release of his or her school records to persons who are allowed to receive the information or documents. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is an enacted law for the purpose of protecting the privacy of a student regarding his school records. There is an exception to this such as a dependent of a parent or guardian who has declared the student or child as a dependent for tax purposes shall oblige the school to disclose the school records to the said parent(s) or guardian(s). This law shall be effective only to those who are 18 years old and/or enters into a postsecondary institution.
