    Hallo!

    Vielen Dank!

    F. Brinkmann

    Hi KCGT,

After building your form, follow these steps to set up the conditional logic:

    1. In Form Builder, go to the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top.
    2. Click on Conditions from the menu on the left.
    3. Choose Skip / Hide a Page as the action.
    4. In the Conditions setup that appears, use the IF dropdown to select the question that will control the navigation. Then, set the State and Value according to your logic.
    5. Below that, use the DO and Field options to define the page or message the user should see based on their answer.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.

Thanks, but no, but this does not answer my question.

You see: I like to STOP! the form right at the beginning when a WRONG answer is given.
    Let's say OPTION 2.

THEN - the User should be directed to a website or a sign has to pop up.
I don't get this to work that way you suggest.

    Hi KCGT,

Sure! After building your form, you can set up the conditional logic by following these steps:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. From the menu on the left, select Conditions.
    3. Choose Enable/Require/Mask Field as the action.

    1. In the Conditions setup that appears:
    • Under IF, select the question that will control the behavior.
    • Set the STATE and VALUE according to your desired logic.
    1. Below that, under DO, select Disable Submit.
    2. Add a MESSAGE to show users when the condition is triggered (e.g., “You should fill out the name”).
    3. Click SAVE when finished.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.

Well, sorry but that ain't no use either ...
I need a REACTION in THAT VERY MOMENT the user clicks the wrong option.

The Message has to APPEAR IN THAT MOMENT!

Not after he has filled in 10 mor fields and ist at the bottom.

I am USING a PAGE BY PAGE setup if that might help.

To make it easy and clear:

    We won't no broke customers!
We want to KICK THEM OUT at the start by asking: Are you Premium :)!?!

That works perfectly for us in OUR forms! Squarespace!

Maybe I didn’t express myself clearly enough.

The very first question should determine whether the form continues or not.

    Two options: YES / NO

Selecting NO means the form stops immediately, and a message is displayed: BYE BYE!

I want to KICK OUT customers that are of NO USE for us.

    Hello KCGT,

While that feature isn’t available in Jotform right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.

As soon as we hear back from you, we can work on getting you a solution for this.

    Ah, I see, thanks!

    Well - I found a WORKAROUND!

Send those users to a text field that is set to READ ONLY!
That is: A DEAD END :)!

Can can not fill it in but it's a MUST! So all comes to stop there!

    Check out my test form!

    Hi KCGT,

It looks like your workaround with a read-only text field is a clever way to temporarily stop users from proceeding.

I’ve also shared your request with our Developers for review. Whether or not it gets implemented will depend on feasibility, demand, and their current workload. If there are any updates, we’ll make sure to follow up here.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
