Hallo zusammen,
wie kann ich ein PDF-Dokument als Vorlage formularübergreifend speichern. Früher ging das ganz einfach. Jetzt geht es irgendwie nicht mehr...
Vielen Dank - Martin

Hi Martin,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, unfortunately, there is currently no direct way to save a PDF document as a template and then use it across multiple forms, as was previously possible. The PDF functionality in Jotform is now more closely tied to individual forms. You'll need to edit individually on each forms' PDF editor.
Reach out to us if you have any other questions.

Hi,
thanks for your prompt reply. Is there any other work around to solve the issue. Export / Import e.g. ... ?

Hi Martin,
You can clone your existing PDF Template from another form, but you will have to manually update the fields included in the PDF. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:
- While in PDF Editor, in the blue navigation bar at the top, click on the New PDF button.
- In the windows that opens, choose Clone Existing PDF and select the form and document you want to clone. That’s it.

Perfect. Looks like a practicable solution.
Thanks and best regrads Martin
