Overview
Within the Admin Console, admins can easily enable Shopify Agent creation, so users in their organization can build AI-powered assistants for their Shopify stores. These agents can answer customer questions, track orders, recommend products, and even trigger forms—helping deliver smarter support and a smoother shopping experience without extra effort.
Enabling Shopify Agent Creation Organization wide
It’s especially useful for businesses that want to provide quick, reliable help around the clock while keeping their online store engaging. Once enabled, everyone on your server can start building Shopify AI Agents right away.
Once AI Agent creation is enabled on your Enterprise Server, setting up Shopify Agent for your users is simple—here’s how:
- In the top-right corner of your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile picture.
- Then, in the menu that comes up, click on Admin Console.
- Now, in the menu on the left side of the Admin Console page, click on Assets.
- Then, in the Organization Wide Assets section on the right, click on AI Agents.
- Next, on the right side of the AI Agents section, click on Settings.
- Now, under the AI Agent Settings section, scroll down to Shopify Agent and, on the right side of it, toggle it on.
- Then, in the Enable Shopify Agents window that pops up, click on Yes, Enable.
That’s it. Shopify Agent is now ready for your users.
Now, they can create AI Agents with Shopify interaction capability and connect them directly to their Shopify store.
Note: Disabling Shopify Agent will prevent users from creating new AI Agents with Shopify interaction capability. However, users can continue using any existing Shopify Agents that they’ve already integrated into their Shopify store.
