Hello. I have a question about styling an email notification I receive once someone submits a form. The question is, the "input table" data in the email notification only contains a top border. I would like the data (each cell) to have a complete border around the cell so that the data visually is easier to review. Is that possible? I checked the source code in the email settings and there is no code available there for me to edit this specific form data.

    Hi fumgoo,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

Currently, the email notification for input tables in Jotform does not provide direct options in the email settings to style each cell with complete borders. The source code area for email notifications typically does not include editable code for the input table's detailed styling like cell borders.

However, you might consider customizing the email notification template using custom HTML tables where you can define borders for each cell. This would involve manually creating a table in the email notification's HTML content and mapping the form data accordingly, but it requires some HTML knowledge and is not directly supported through the default input table styling.

If you need more detailed guidance on customizing email notifications or alternative ways to present your data for easier review, please let me know.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Fumari,

Currently, there is no option to edit how the Input Table shows on the Notification Emails. While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We appreciate it.
