I'm creating a class enrollment and I need those signing up to see how many spots are still available in the payment gateway/product list. How do I do that?

Hi Lynsie,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Regarding your question about displaying how many spots are still available in the payment gateway/product list for your class enrollment, currently, Jotform does not have a built-in feature to show the remaining spots directly within the payment gateway or product list.
You might consider alternative approaches such as manually updating the available spots in the form description or using inventory widgets or integrations that track availability outside the payment gateway itself.
If you want, I can help you explore options like creating multiple forms or using widgets that might help with tracking spots.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Does the inventory widget have to tie into the payment gateway? Or can it just be there to show the amount of spots left?

Hi Lynsie,
The Inventory widget in Jotform does not have to be tied directly into the payment gateway. It can be used independently just to show the amount of spots left for your class or product. This allows you to display the available quantity to your users without linking it to the payment processing.
If you want to accept payments and track stock simultaneously, there are ways to integrate stock management with payment fields, but the Inventory widget itself can simply serve as a visual indicator of availability.
Let us know if you want guidance on setting this up.
