Instagram AI Agent: Chatbot still replying even the reply to DMs is disabled

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your AI Agent, and it's not connected to Instagram already so it should not reply anymore. If you have embedded the AI chatbot using code in any site, you should erase the code from it.

I went ahead and cleared your form cache, as this typically fix minor form issues. You can also try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, refreshing your page, or try accessing the form using another browser or device. Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If you’re still having the same issue, we’ll look into it more to see if we can figure out what’s going on.

The chatbot is connected with my Instagram because it's supposed to response in messages. But I disabled the option Response in DMs. Not sure what you were looking at.

As you can see here, it still response.

"Avec plaisir...etc." that's her, and she's not supposed to talk. Doesn't matter with the cache or something else since it's not connected with Jotform or Instagram... I don't see why it should be related.

I'm not sure why you're saying my agent is not connected with Instagram as you can seee it is?

I checked the screenshot, and it looks like the AI agent connected to your Instagram account is still sending DMs. The reason seems to be that the responses are being triggered by reactions to stories posted on your account, rather than normal messages. Even if the “Response in DMs” option is disabled, the story replies that Instagram delivers as direct messages can still trigger automated replies. This is why the chatbot is replying with messages even though it shouldn’t be active in regular DMs.
