Hi,
We have a simple form where employees can enter any consumables (as a number) that they have used on a job. When I export this to Excel, that numbers appear as a text, and I currently have to manually retype that number into each cell to get Excel to recognise it as numerical so formulars work.
Is there a better way of doing this?

Hi Civil,
I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Currently, there is no specific information available in the knowledge base about numbers appearing as text when exporting to Excel from Jotform. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a direct solution for this issue.

Hi civilpositioningservices,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it, but the numbers showed as number on my Excel. Check out my screenshot below:
When numbers from Jotform appears as text in Excel, it's often due to how Excel interprets the date format. You can change the cell's number format to Number. I've found a guide on How to Fix Tex-Formatted Numbers by Applying a Number Format that you can check out.
