We added the send update request button on our form but when we send out the request, how long will it be until the updates show on our end & is it possible to get alerts when the updates have been made.

Hi Joanne,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Unfortunately, there is no specific information available regarding how long it takes for updates to show after sending an update request or about receiving alerts when updates are made.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Joanne,
To clarify, are you referring to the Request Update action button that you added in your submission tables? If so, once the user submits their update, the changes will appear instantly on your end in the Tables view. If you'd like to get alerts whenever an update is made, you can Set Up a Notification Email. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
3. Now, click on Add Email.
4. In the list that comes up, select Notification Email.
5. In the center of the next window, click on the Recipients tab.
6. Now, just enter your email address into the Recipient Email field, and click on Save. That's it, you're done.
Give it a try and reach out again if you need any help.

Hi Joanne,
Let me show you how to receive an email once the submission has been edited:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Next, select Emails from the left side window and click on the Pencil icon of the Notification email.
- From the Advanced tab, tick on When a submission is edited from the Send Email Automatically section.
- Lastly, click on Save on the lower right side of the page.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
