Hi! Is it possible to ask for three different contact persons in the form buider and send notifications to all inserted adresses? I mean adresses inserted by the user, not by the creator of the form.
My goal is to build a outgoing international students form to apply for an exchange with 3 destinations options. The user fills in the IRC contact person for each choiced institution where the student is applyig for. Is it possible to notify all the inserted contact persons, besides de submitter student and the form creator?
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand what you’d like to do, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.
First, let's get unique names of the 3 IRC Contact email fields that we'll use to input in the condition:
1. In the Form Builder, click on the Gear icon on the right side of the IRC Contact Email field to open Email Properties.
2. Go to the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll at the Fields Details, click on the Downward Arrow icon and copy the Unique Name. That's it.
Copy the unique names for the second and third IRC email fields. Once that’s done, we’ll proceed with setting up the condition on your form. Let me walk you through it:
1. While in Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. Click on Conditions in the menu on the left side of the page.
3. Click on Add Condition.
4. Select Change Email Recipient condition.
5. This is the first condition if the 1st Choice IRC Contact Email has been selected to send the email to. Make sure the Unique Name copied earlier of that field is entered in the email with the Curly Brackets before and after it.
6. This is the second condition.
7. This is the final condition and you're done.
Lastly, make sure to delete the existing condition set to your form, since it is no longer needed.
Here's my cloned form if you want to test and clone it from your account. We've got a guide here that'll show you how to clone a form.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
