About
Manny Rivera founded Planet Fitness in 1995, intent on challenging the established health and fitness industry in South Africa. As Planet Fitness rose in popularity, it went digital with Jotform in 2017. Now it uses every tool Jotform offers for both external and internal needs, led by Jotform Workflows, Sign, and Apps, resulting in improved efficiency across the organization.
Challenge
As Planet Fitness grew, its document and data management systems became unwieldy. Staff printed a lot of paper documents and had issues with data organization and security.
Solution
Planet Fitness went digital with Jotform. The team’s online forms soon turned into Jotform Workflows, and now the company has thousands of them. Planet Fitness uses Jotform Sign, conditional logic, and more. Additionally, the company creates mobile apps with Jotform Apps, and generates employment contracts and more with Jotform PDF Editor.
Results
Planet Fitness has built more than 3,000 workflows with Jotform and reports a 30-percent efficiency boost across the organization. Notably, payroll processing time has been reduced by half, even as the company doubled in size without adding personnel to its HR department.
