TEAM INFORMATION

If playing in both gendered doubles and mixed doubles, please enter gendered doubles partner/team information first, then mixed doubles partner/team information. 

To help figure out the best bracket for you, please consider the following, then select your division and bracket in the drop down below the descriptions. 

I am a Newbie if.......I've played only once or twice or are completely new to the sport.  I am curious to learn about how to play, and to answer the burning questions..."what the heck the kitchen? a dink? an ATP"?  If I had to rate myself, I'd be unrated or 2.0-2.5.

 I am a Beginner if......I've played enough to know how to start the game, I understand the basic rules,and I know how to keep score. I can sometimes keep a volley going, but I am still working on keeping the ball inbounds and out of the net. Or, I know the game but have been out for a long time,  and I'm unsure of my skill level.  If I had to rate myself, I'd be somewhere in the range of 2.5-3.25. 

 I am an Intermediate if.....I understand the game enough to know that the official name of the kitchen is the non-volley zone, I can consistently serve in bounds, am pretty consistent with dropping and driving the ball, and can dink fairly proficiently.  I can play with some intention and strategy, and sometimes maintain long rallies.  If I had to rate myself, I'd be somewhere in the range of 3.25-3.75.  

 I am an Advanced player if.....I understand the game thoroughly, win often, and play very consistently.  Most of my shots are hit with intention, and usually go where I aim them.  I play with strategy, often creating sequences of shots to win points.  If I had to rate myself, I would be somewhere in the range of 3.75+.  

Waiver:  

SPINCLUSION RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (“AGREEMENT”) 

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in the Spinclusion sponsored Pickleball and Bicycling Activities(“Activity”) I for myself, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin: 

1.  ACKNOWLEDGE, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of Pickleball and Bicycling Activities and that I am qualified to participate in such Activity. I further acknowledge that the Activity will be conducted in a public roads facility open to the public during the Activity.  I further agree and warrant that if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activity. 

2.  FULLY UNDERSTAND that: 

(a) BICYCLING and PICKLEBALL ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURIES, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS AND DEATH (“Risks”);(b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the conditions in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE “RELEASEES” NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISKS AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation in the Activity. 

3. PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: I understand and agree that photographs, video and audio recordings may be taken during my participation in Spinclusion and Bike Norfolk events. I hereby give permission and authorize the use and reproduction of said photographs and recordings by Spinclusion and Bike Norfolk. All related files, recordings and prints shall become the sole property of Spinclusion and Bike Norfolk.

4. HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Spinclusion, Bike Norfolk, and all their sponsors, their respective administrators, directors, agents, and employees, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and leasers of premises on which the Activity take place, (each considered one of the “RELEASEES” herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE  “RELEASEES” OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS. 

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID THE BALANCE, NOT WITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. 

*If participane is under 18 and/or has physical and/or mental limitations that they cannot sign document themselves, it must be signed by their legal guardian(s) who have the authority to enter into a contract on their behalf.
