Do you get what you pay for? WorkForms pricing explained

In February 2022, monday.com announced the launch of a new form tool called WorkForms. Their hook is that WorkForms can help you “turn insights into actions.”

Turning insights into actions sounds nice and corporate. But what does WorkForms actually do? What value do they provide that lets them compete in the already crowded form tool space?

In this article, we’re going to take a look at what they actually offer and how much the tool will cost you.

The basics of WorkForms

At first glance, WorkForms gives you all the basics you need to create a form. Their interface is clean and easy to learn, and their forms are attractive.

WorkForms lets you create forms that are most visually similar to those you get with Typeform. Typeform lets you create forms that have an image on one side and the form on the other.

WorkForms does the same thing and gives you a bunch of pastel backgrounds to select from. But Typeform also puts only one question per page. It’s kind of their thing. WorkForms doesn’t do that.

WorkForms features

As mentioned, WorkForms gives you all the basic form elements, like text, multi-select, and email. They also offer some nice extras, like date range, star rating, and country selection. Most other tools only offer those as an add-on if they offer it at all.

However, many more elements that have become an industry standard are missing from WorkForms. For example, there are no dropdowns. Address fields, or survey tables. The missing survey tables leave an especially large hole. A number of more advanced features are also missing, like signatures, payment acceptance, and HIPAA compliance.

On top of that, there are very few templates, no integrations, and no flow control.

On the other hand, WorkForms has one of monday.com’s most powerful features — automations. The automations at least partially make up for the lack of integrations, and you can probably use it to create workarounds for some of the other shortcomings.

WorkForms pricing

WorkForms offers a flexible, usage-based pricing model with three tiers. The Free Plan includes access to all features, with no limitations on the number of form fields. It allows for 100 submissions per month and a total cap of 1,000 submissions. This plan is perfect for light users who want full functionality without a financial commitment.

The next level, called the Pro Plan, is priced at $30/month, billed annually. It expands submission limits and unlocks unlimited form views and storage, while still keeping all features available. This tier is designed for users who need more capacity and scalability in their workflows.

At the top, WorkForms offers a Custom Plan that is almost entirely unlimited. While specific pricing isn’t listed publicly, this plan is tailored for organizations with high-volume needs. It does not yet constitute a full enterprise offering, but it’s positioned as a scalable solution for larger teams or businesses with advanced demands.

The final verdict

Overall, WorkForms is still a very limited tool. The initial offering is exciting, especially if you’re a fan of monday.com. And it shows promise. It will probably get much better over time, but right now, it may not be your best choice.

There’s just too little available on offer. Unless your team is already using monday.com, you’ll probably want to go with a more established form tool. It could be years before WorkForms catches up to the rest.

There’s another form tool on the market with the exact same pricing structure as WorkForms but with every feature you could ever want. That tool is Jotform.

Saying we have every feature is a big claim, but it’s actually true. There are literally no other form tools on the market with as many features, integrations, templates, or accessory tools.

By the time WorkForms catches up to Jotform, Jotform will have new features for them to catch up with. WorkForms can match our pricing, but it doesn’t match our product.

Of course, we are partial to our own product, but all of those claims are absolutely true. Find out for yourself.
