Benefits of using PayPal Commerce Platform
Like its name suggests, Jotform’s PayPal Business integration is designed for growing businesses that want to provide a wide breadth of payment options for buyers or customers, who may live in other countries.
Regardless of whether you take pride in being a small, local business or have big dreams of reaching people in other countries, we’ll walk you through some of the key benefits that make Jotform’s PayPal Business integration the right fit for your payment processing needs.
Use professional-looking credit card forms with no redirects
No one enjoys jumping through a bunch of hoops to pay for something.
These days, buyers have a lot of choices online and won’t think twice about going somewhere else that offers cheaper prices or higher-quality products or services.
The same can be said for customers who don’t want to be sent elsewhere when they’re buying something from your website or online store.
Jotform’s PayPal Business integration allows customers to have a frictionless on-site checkout experience and make payments while they’re filling out your online order form. This means customers won’t be sent away from your credit card form and required to enter their payment details on PayPal’s website.
This seamless workflow gives you more control over the checkout experience and allows you to address any cart abandonment issues. Customers, meanwhile, don’t have to deal with the hassle of navigating their way back to your website or worry about whether their money is in safe hands.
Grow your business and tap into new markets
Expanding your products or services to customers in other countries can be an exciting yet stressful endeavor that requires a lot of time, money, and forethought.
Apart from coordinating the logistics to make it happen and addressing any regulatory requirements, you need a payment processor that can collect money securely and offer payment options that appeal to buyers in certain countries.
PayPal Commerce Platform allows you to scale your business, boost sales, and expand your reach without worrying about the nitty-gritty details, such as complying with PSD2 in EU countries or accepting a wide variety of local payment methods throughout the world.
Jotform’s integration with PayPal Commerce Platform ensures that you can keep collecting payments through your forms without interrupting your workflow or leaning on another payment processing solution to do the job.
With the ability to accept payments in up to 25 different currencies, PayPal Commerce Platform can connect your business to customers in all corners of the world, take on the processing legwork, and provide access to the capital you need.
Let customers decide how they want to pay
Having a number of choices can be helpful when important decisions hang in the balance.
This is especially true when your customers need to open up their wallets — digital or not — and pay for a product or service.
PayPal Commerce Platform offers your customers, regardless of where they live, a wide variety of ways to pay, from traditional debit and credit cards to digital wallets that are commonly used in their country. You can even offer flexible payment terms for qualified customers through PayPal Credit.
Meanwhile, Jotform’s PayPal Business integration lets you control which payment options will be available for your customers.
PayPal Commerce Platform also allows customers to use a number of alternative payment methods, including Venmo in the United States.
The best part is that PayPal will only show customers payment alternatives that are supported in their country. For instance, a customer in Belgium would see Bancontact and Sofort as payment options on your form, while a customer in the Netherlands would see iDEAL or Sofort.
All in all, PayPal Commerce Platform allows you to strike a healthy balance between maintaining a streamlined checkout process and offering convenience and choice to customers.
Just so you know…
Alternative payment options aren’t available to merchants in Brazil, Japan, and Russia. Since PayPal Commerce Platform doesn’t support cross-border shipping for alternative payment methods, buyers will receive a message saying that the shipping address is invalid when items are destined for a country where a specific alternative payment method isn’t supported.
Some alternative payment methods aren’t available for merchants who sell prohibited goods and services.
Collect payments securely
Accepting money from other countries can come with more than its fair share of risks and rewards, so it’s important to know what safeguards are in place for you and your customers.
PayPal works proactively with local merchants to reduce chargebacks, or money that’s returned to customers because of a fraudulent or disputed transaction.
Jotform complies with PSD2 regulation requirements in Europe and offers the highest level of security for credit card payments as a certified Level 1 Payment Credit Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) service provider.
PayPal Commerce Platform not only provides this same level of security for all online transactions but also uses 3D Secure 2.0 to authenticate card payments made by EU customers.
PayPal mitigates many of the risks tied to online purchases by offering unauthorized transaction coverage for buyers and PayPal Seller Protection, which covers unauthorized payment and undelivered item claims made by buyers.

I am interested in learning if the PayPal ap can work the transaction flow we are using...
This can be the ideal "editable" solution we are looking for. 99% of E-commerce templates do not permit multiple choices within the product selection.
For Example:
1. Base web site page displays 20 "families" of products.
2. Customer selects a family radio button.
3. New web page displays 10 individual items in the family.
4. Customer selects radio button beside desired item.
5. Radio button opens the Jotform E Commerce transaction manager.
6. The chosen family item plus a group of optional (support) items for chosen family item appear with radio button beside of each.
7. Customer clicks radio button beside each optional/support item desired.
8. The item and optional items are "subtotaled". (STOP)
9. How does the Jotform E Commerce transaction manager suspend this subtotal...and permits customer to return to the original index of item "families"?
10. Additional item work flow follows this same logic...building on suspended subtotal.
11. Given the Jotform E Commerce transaction manager can accomplish the afore defined work flow... The customer presses a "check out" radio button
and is taken to the PayPal billing transaction.
Please advise if this is a workflow this Jotform application can achieve.
Looking forward to your reply... ;^)

It would seem currently, both the 'PayPal Business' and 'PayPal Commerce' Payment Integrations do not provide the ability to 'Sell Subscriptions' or collect recurring payments.
Is there a way to seamlessly collect recurring payments? If not, is this functionality planned to be implemented?
