About
Falcon Events produces a wide range of hybrid experiences and provides end-to-end event streaming solutions, including content capture, platform configuration, design, and more, to organizations across the globe.
A new age event production company that works direct to consumer as well as with businesses, Falcon uses Jotform to streamline the collection of new business leads, administer post-event surveys, and log support requests in Salesforce.
Challenge
Launching right before the pandemic, Falcon was in search of software automation that could collect multifaceted lead information and work as a project management database.
David Carroll, Falcon’s platform lead, explains that the original vision was to figure out how Salesforce could be that “end to end solution,” housing leads, opportunities, projects, and storage for all show details.
While setting up Salesforce as Falcon’s solution, the team discovered just how intricate and robust a platform it is. As it became clear that achieving their vision would take some time, they quickly identified an area they could simplify: their front-end forms.
Solution
Now, when one of Falcon’s partners wants to get an estimate for an event, they use a Jotform. “That form goes through, and we use the Salesforce integration to push those fields in. Most of our leads come through Jotform and end up in Salesforce,” says Joshua Butler, COO of Falcon Events.
Since all customer details enter Salesforce as leads, and the contact doesn’t get created until a lead is converted, it was important for Falcon that this integration involved tools that were reliable and could scale with its customer base.
“The forms involve our most important constituents, so it’s very important that it looks good and it works. Jotform provides all of those things and the backend insert capability into Salesforce.”
Along the way, Falcon began using Jotform to manage other information like support requests, which then create cases within Salesforce for internal resources to address.
Collecting client assets for booked events is another valuable use case. “For more complicated submissions, like setting up an exhibitor booth, which requires images, videos, etc., we’ll use Jotform so we can collect those assets as well as the answers to more specific questions,” says Butler.
