1. 2022 Aurora Institute Symposium

Formerly iNACOL, this event brings together thousands of educators, policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to collaborate on the future of education. 2. #AMLE22

November 3–5, 2022; Orlando, Florida (in person)

The annual conference for the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) connects educators and school professionals who work with youth in grades 5–9. The AMLE supports more than 35,000 members including principals, teachers, counselors, central office personnel, professors, community leaders, and college students.

3. Learning & the Brain

The Science of Knowledge: April 1–3, 2022; New York City (in person and online)

Education conference organizer Learning & the Brain is celebrating its 20th year exploring the science of effective teaching. This year, it’s hosting two major conferences on the applications of brain science in educational environments: The Science of Teaching and The Science of Knowledge.

In the former, attendees will explore topics related to teaching through COVID and working overall to improve teaching, schools, and learning spaces. In the latter, the conference will dive into subjects including building student expertise, reasoning, reflection, and critical thinking.

4. ICLE: Model Schools Conference 2022

The 30th annual conference hosted by the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) focuses on building and refining the organizational structures of institutions for better student outcomes. 5. SXSW EDU

The SXSW EDU conference and festival is an annual event that celebrates innovations in learning. Registration for the 2022 conference is now open.

Educators connect with one another to explore topics such as accessibility and inclusion, arts, K–12 learning, adult learning, SEL, equity, and emerging tech through a wide range of sessions, films, and competitions.

6. ASCD 2022 Annual Conference Recharge & Reconnect

The annual ASCD Recharge & Reconnect conference is designed for all educators to come together to reflect on the past year and get reinvigorated for the next. Members of the educational space from across the country come together to inspire one another in creating inclusive, engaging, and challenging learning environments.

7. Deeper Learning 2022

DL 2022 will be the 10th annual conference where educators come together to explore deeper learning, strive for equity in education, and learn how to improve teaching practices. 9. OLC Innovate 2022

12. CoSN22: Amplifying for the Power of One

Hosted by the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), CoSN22 returns to an in-person hybrid event after a virtual conference last year to provide the latest leadership resources, best practices, and advocacy tools for digital transformation in education. 13. Carnegie Foundation 2022 Summit
