UPDATE: As of June 2023, we’re excited to introduce the new Digest Emails, as a native feature. With Digest Emails, you can automatically receive a daily, weekly, or monthly recap of new form submissions — cutting down on the number of emails you receive while keeping you informed.
Today, we are happy to announce that Daily Digest service is now out of beta. We have perfected the daily digest emails with the help of 100 Jotform users.
You can signup for Daily Digest service to receive daily emails containing all of your submissions. But, there are also other options.
Periods:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Forms:
- All Forms
- Selected Forms
You can set up as many daily digest emails as you wish.
So, why would you want to use the daily digest emails? Here are some use cases which might help you decide if you should signup for the Daily Digest service.
Use Case 1: Daily Reviews
You can use Daily Digest service to double check the submissions you receive. Whether you accidentally delete a submission email or a spam filter eats it, the digest emails is a good way to verify that you have received all of your submissions.
Use Case 2: Too Many Submissions
Some forms receive hundreds of submissions a day. If that’s the case, it might make more sense to disable emails or auto-archive them on the email client, and instead use the daily digest emails to process submissions.
Use Case 3: See All Form Submissions in a Single Place
Some Jotform users have hundreds of forms. Daily Digest is a good way to see all submissions received from various forms all at once. It gives you a chance to review them in daily/weekly/monthly periods.
You can send daily digest emails to any email address you enter. So, while an employee might receive and processes the individual submission emails, a manager might prefer to receive a single email instead.
We hope that you will find Daily Digest service helpful. Another great reason to use Jotform!

Hi. I set up to received daily digest daily. But what if I want to change it to weekly in the future. How do I do that? I can't seem to find a control panel. Thank you

I set up the daily digest 30 min before the next hour and did not receive any emails. In addition, the test email button does not seem to be working as well. The confirmation message does not list out any email recipients and I didn't receive any email and it is not in my spam folder neither.

This doesn't seem to be working for me? I sent a test email but never got it?

Does the "To:" field allow a comma or semicolon separated list of email addresses? Or is there a way to setup multiple digests?

Thanks you for your information

For Use Case #2, instead of showing the details of each submission, your Daily Digest can be designed to provide only the summary, e.g. for my case:
APRIL SUMMARY
Company X In-house Training Request: 20
Company X Public Training Registration: 7
Company Y In-house Training Request: 15
Company Y Public Training Registration: 3
So for our own review, we choose all forms; for our specific customer's review, we choose 2 forms, namely Company X In-house Training Request and Company X Public Training Registration. Hope you find this make sense for your Daily Digest improvement.

Thanks AT,
Your team never stops innovation. And thats what we love about Jotform. BTW, we just touched about 40K plus submissions across three of our forms in three days. Absolutely no issues! Please keep up the great great work.

I am totally loving what I am seeing in the test email. We have many submissions and to have a snapshot of each one is EXCELLENT and so helpful for us. We have had some slip by us in the past and this is a great way to audit to make sure we have contacted everyone who has submitted a form. Thank you so much for coming up with this idea. You have definitely made our jobs at the Elite Embassy much easier. Thanks again. So far so good. :)

I think it's a great feature, cause it saves me the trouble to go especially to jot's site to find out if i've got new submissions and be notified on time when new submissions are listed. sharona

it would be great to also get a report in excel as clients in the office dont have access to our account, so they are always requesting an export of responses on the form.

Out of beta? It still seems to have a lot of beta-like bugs to me.
