Jotform is Redink Tattoo’s go-to virtual assistant

Running a successful tattoo studio isn’t just about creative designs and clean lines. The behind-the-scenes operations are just as important as what happens in the chair. When it comes to juggling multiple artists, back-to-back bookings, and client forms, Redink Tattoo Studio gets it done with Jotform.

Redink Tattoo Studio, located in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, is an upscale tattoo shop run by a small team of artists passionate about their craft. They use Jotform to run their business smoothly.

“Jotform has enabled Redink Tattoo Studio to streamline the [tattoo] process, making it easier for the client, and making our lives a little bit easier,” says cofounder Serge J. Volnick. “Every time we have a problem within the business, we go back to Jotform.”

Before Jotform, Redink used paper forms for client waivers and appointments, resulting in lost paperwork and illegible handwriting on forms. Artists were spending precious creative time doing menial tasks. This created an environment where it was hard to stay organized, especially on busy days or times with multiple appointments scheduled at once.

Redink Tattoo decided to switch to Jotform to digitize its process and cut down on administrative tasks — relying on Jotform products to perform these tasks instead.

Intake and waiver forms streamlined

By linking to forms via QR code, clients can scan and sign forms quickly — effectively expediting the form-filling process and cutting out physical forms.

Cut down on administrative tasks so artists can focus on their craft

With Jotform automating tasks like filing paperwork and collecting signatures, artists at Redink spend more time dedicated to their designs.

Internal form tracking

All forms are stored in Redink’s Jotform account, making it easy to reference previous appointments and clients.

Because Redink wants to keep processes streamlined, the team also loves that users can fill out forms on their phones or tablets — mobile-friendly forms present a great way to get paperwork done reliably and quickly. All clients have to do is scan a QR code, and they’re taken straight to the form they need.

We currently use Jotform for all our consent forms,” says Volnick. “Tattooing, piercing, aftercare, laser removal. We use forms to keep track of everything.

Jotform is thrilled to help Redink Tattoo Studio streamline administrative operations and assist artists in focusing on what really matters.
