How to add an AI Agent to Shopify

  1. Log into your Shopify store account and open the Shopify App Store.
  2. Search for “Jotform,” and open the Jotform AI Chatbot & Live Chat app. Click Install.

  1. Click Connect.

  1. Sign up for a Jotform account by entering your email, or, if you already have a standard Jotform account, click Log in.

If you’re a Jotform Enterprise user, you should see a Log into Jotform Enterprise option.

  1. Enter your Enterprise server name. Click Continue.

  1. To give access to your Jotform account, click Allow.

  1. That’s it! Now, you can create a custom AI Agent for your Shopify store.

Create your agent

After you install the app, you’ll see two options:

  • Create new AI chatbot lets you build a new AI Agent.
  • Select from existing AI chatbot lets you add a Jotform AI Agent you’ve already created to your store.

If you choose Select from existing AI chatbot, you’ll see a list of the agents you’ve already created. Choose the one you want and click Select agent.

If you choose Create new AI chatbot, you’ll start by selecting which skills you want your agent to be fluent in: Product Discovery, Customer Support, Order Management, and Engagement & Upsell. Check the ones you want, then click Next.

In the next window, describe your agent in the text field. You can enter details about your agent’s personality and goals. When you’re done, click Create AI chatbot.

You’ll then be able to train and customize your agent. The Agent persona window lets you choose from a variety of avatar options, create a name for your agent, modify its chattiness and tone, and more. The Agent style window lets you modify your agent’s color scheme and appearance. The Train your chatbot window lets you add actions for your agent to perform.

To access even more training and customization options, select Go to Jotform. From Jotform’s AI Agent Builder, you can access the full range of agent training and customization options.
