How to block dates on the form from google calendar.

We are evaluating booking services for our clients in hospitality and beauty salons, one requirement that is a must for them is with their integrated Google Calendar, a double booking should not be allowed.

We looked at Jotform as a possible schedule booking solution, but have read comments by other users that this is not possible. One thread suggested that this was because Jotform cannot read from Google Calendar so it cannot determine if a block is opened or not.

We see that Google Apps and services allow developer to grant read/write access to different applications, so want to know why this not possible for the case of Calendar Sync and double booking problem.

Please let us know when or if this limitation would be address in the near future, if so what would be the estimated time of this new feature release.

Thanks for getting back to us. Please note, as of now the google Calendar integration only passes data only one way. It only sends data from the form to google calendar, but it will not read the data from the Google Calendar. So appointment booked on the form will block the date and time in Google Calendar but it will not block the dates from the Google Calender on the forms. I am sorry that the feature you are looking for is currently not available. However, I can see that other agents have already requested this feature to be added to Google Calendar Integration, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
