Pass Unique ID widget value to another form

Is there a way to pass the number generated by this widget to another form using the prefill option with approvals? I'm trying to have 1 form generate the number, and then have that number prefilled in on another form, but it appears this widget doesn't work w/ the prefill capabilities?

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Unique ID is generated once the Form is submitted. In this case, your plan to create a form and generate the Unique ID then pass the ID to a field on another form is possible.

Here's the Pre-fill URL for my sample forms below: https://form.jotform.com/221236519011040?shortText={unique}

The highlighted word on the URL above is the Unique name of the Unique ID field found under the Advanced tab of the Settings shown below.

Add the Pre-filled URL on the Thank You page.

Every time the user submits the form https://form.jotform.com/221236961640049, it will be directed to the other form https://form.jotform.com/221236519011040. It will populate the Short text field on the second form with values from the first form. That is also indicated on the second form URL shown below.
