Prefill form fields using API

Hello,

I know I can pre-fill fields using URL parameters, but I'm wondering can I create a Jotform 'pre-fill' using API, and get back a response with the link to that pre-fill?

While it is possible to use the API to create form submissions, it is not possible to prepopulate form fields with data via API. If you want to make form submissions directly via the API, please refer to our API Documentation for reference: http://api.jotform.com/docs/#post-form-id-submissions

But instead of using API to prefill your form fields, how would you like to consider using the Jotform Prefill feature instead?
