I am trying to switch jotform to use another Salesforce user. I attempted to follow the instructions below:

    • On your Form builder, select "Settings"
    • On the settings menu, select "Integrations" then select Salesforce
    • After selecting Salesforce, please click on "Remove Integration"

However, I do not see an option for "Remove Integration". Can you help me?

    Thanks

    Hi Leveling,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

To switch to another Salesforce user by removing the current integration, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your Form Builder and click on the Settings tab.
    2. Select Integrations from the left panel.
    3. Search for Salesforce and click on it.
    4. After selecting Salesforce, you should see the existing integration actions you created.
    5. Hover your mouse over the created Salesforce action, and you will see an Edit (gear icon) and a Delete (trash bin) icon.
    6. Click the Delete (trash bin) icon to remove the current Salesforce integration.

This will effectively disconnect the current Salesforce user from your Jotform integration, allowing you to set up a new Salesforce user integration afterward.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

It looks like that method requires me to redo the entire integration. Is there a way to just switch the user?

    Hi Leveling,

    Thanks for your follow-up question.

Currently, Jotform does not offer a direct option to switch Salesforce users within the same integration without redoing the integration. To use a different Salesforce user, you will need to remove the existing integration and set up the integration again with the new Salesforce user credentials.

This process involves deleting the current Salesforce integration from your form and then authenticating with the new Salesforce user account during the integration setup.

If you want to use API-only Salesforce users or have specific permission set requirements, you can create and configure those users in Salesforce and then connect them during the integration setup in Jotform.

Let us know if you need guidance on creating API-only users or setting up the integration again.
