Hello, I am having a problem with the booking form. I would like to set everything to German. Everything works fine except for the day and month names. These are still in English and I cannot change them. My browser is set to German and so is the region. How can I solve this problem?

Hi Vojtek,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
The day and month names in the booking form are controlled by the language settings of the form itself, not just the browser or region settings. To set everything to German, including day and month names, you need to change the form's language settings.
Here’s how to do it:
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Find the Language section. Set the form language to German.
- Save the changes.
This should update the day and month names to German in your booking form.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I have already tried that. It does not work.

Hi Vojtek,
Since changing the form language to German did not update the day and month names in your booking form, this issue might be related to the specific widget or calendar integration used in the form. Some calendar widgets have their own language settings separate from the form's main language setting.
Here’s what you can try next:
- Check the calendar or date picker widget settings in your form to see if there is an option to set the language to German.
- Ensure you are using a calendar widget that supports localization and German language.
- Clear your browser cache or try opening the form in a different browser to see if the changes take effect.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please provide the form ID or a link to the form so we can take a closer look.

That didn't help either. There are no language settings for the widget. The ID of the form is:
252712455690358

Hi Vojtek,
Thank you for providing the form ID and the additional details.
Since the widget does not have language settings and the issue persists despite the form language being set to German, this might be a limitation or a specific issue with the booking widget itself.
I will escalate this to our technical team for further investigation based on your form ID 252712455690358. They will look into why the day and month names are not reflecting the German language as expected.
We appreciate your patience while we work on this.

Hi Wojciech,
Currently, there is no option to translate the day of the Appointment field to German, but you can do this for the month. Let me show you how to do that:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Click on Show More Options, and scroll a bit down.
3. Next, click on Edit on the right side of Form Languages option and click on Add language.
4. Then, select a language and click on Add.
5. Enter your translation and click anywhere outside the textbox to autosave your input, and that's it.
Here's a sample result:
You can also check out our guide on that here for more details.
Try that and reach out again if you need more help.
