Hi Studentoneoperating,
I understand that the PDFs have stopped attaching to your emails since Friday. To ensure the submission PDFs are attached to your email notifications or autoresponders, please check the following steps:
- In the Form Builder, click on the Settings tab at the top.
- Select Emails from the left panel.
- Click the Pencil icon to edit your Notification or Autoresponder email.
- Go to the Advanced tab and make sure the PDF attachment option is enabled.
- Save the changes.
You can also refer to our detailed guide on how to include submissions as PDF attachments in email notifications https://www.jotform.com/help/503-how-to-include-submissions-as-pdf-attachment-in-the-email-notifications">here.
Let me know if you need any further assistance!

Hi Studentoneoperating,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. Note that Jotform has total email attachment limit of 5 MB. Files larger than this won’t attach to your Notification or Autoresponder Emails. You can check the emails that does not have PDF attachment and if it's more than 5 MB you'll the same as below:
You may set up your own custom SMTP and use it as your email sender so that you could send attachments more than 5 MB. You can easily set up a custom SMTP to use your email sender as provider. Let me walk you through it:
1. Go to the Settings page while logged in to your Jotform account and click on Add Sender Email in the Sender Emails section.
2. In the window that opens, select Custom and click on the Continue button.
3. Enter your email provider's details, click on Send Test Email to check if it’s set up correctly, and then click on Save.
Now you should select your custom SMTP in your email properties under email settings in Form Builder, and if you’re using Workflow Builder, do the same there. Check below to see how it looks in Form Builder:
And here’s how it looks in Workflow Builder:
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
