May I know the reason for error?

    This is very confusing, and I even cannot approve or reject.

For example, if an approval step is missing the approver's email address, a red error indicator will appear on the element in the Workflow Builder.

    You can click on the red error icon on the approval element or at the top right corner of the Workflow Builder to see details about the error. From there, you have the option to either cancel or restart the approval flow after fixing the issue.

    Please check your approval workflow for any missing required fields or settings, especially the approver's email address, and update them accordingly to resolve the error.

    There is no details when I clicking the red error icon on the approval element, and also the workflow setting is no error showing to reminder. Please advise.

    Hi HKSR_HR,

    I tried cloning your form to test it, and I got the same result. This is how to fix it:

    1. Ensure that your 1st and 2nd approver email fields are filled. Otherwise, the approval emails won't have value to pull from.
    2. Alternatively, you can enter the approver's email address in the Approval element settings. Check out our guide on How to Set Up Approval in Jotform Workflows to learn more.

    On my test, I entered my email as the recipient instead of pulling from the 2nd approver email field, since it was hidden and there are no conditions putting value into it:
