I created a electronic signature form that I want to attach to a QR Code. I do not want individuals to have to sign in to complete the form. Everyone should have access. (Again I am not sending the document to individual people, QR Code will be posted on the school website for people to sign in. Please let me know the best method to achieve this goal. I Went to the "Send" tab and cretated a link. The form comes up, however it is still asking participants to sign in to complete the form. I Do not want this. The AI assistant keeps saying that I can disable this feature, however I have tried multiple times and don't see the information that she keeps talking about. I just want people to go so the link read the notice and sign.

Hi Daron,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
To allow everyone to access and complete your electronic signature form via the QR code without requiring them to log in, you need to ensure that the form's settings do not enforce any login or authentication requirements. Since you mentioned the form is still asking participants to sign in, it is likely that the form or your account settings have some restrictions enabled.
Here’s how to check and adjust your form settings:
- Go to your form's Settings tab.
- Look for any options related to authentication or login requirements. Make sure that options like "Require Login" or "Require Authentication" are disabled.
- Check the Share or Publish options. Use the direct link generated under the Send tab and ensure it is set for public access without login.
If you do not see any login requirement options in your form settings, it might be related to your account or plan restrictions. In that case, please verify your account type and permissions.
Since the AI assistant mentioned disabling this feature but you cannot find it, it might be helpful to review the form's privacy and access settings carefully, as sometimes these options are under different sections depending on the form type.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Daron,
Since this is a Jotform Sign document, the behavior is different from regular forms. By default, Jotform Sign requires signers to authenticate with a Jotform account for security and legal validity of the e-signature. That’s why anyone accessing the document link or QR code is being prompted to sign in before they can proceed.
If you’d like participants to be able to sign without logging in, the alternative is to recreate your document as a regular Jotform form with an E-Signature widget instead of using Jotform Sign. Forms with the signature widget can be shared publicly, linked to a QR code, and filled out by anyone without requiring them to log in. Adding the Signature Element to your form is easy. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basics tab, search for the Signature element and click on it to add it to your form.
