    Can someone help me please.

Everytime I try to edit the AutoResponder email and Save it, it doesnt save and keeps going back to the default.

I have tried clearing cache adn reloading in a Incognito window like a google search suggested but it doesnt work.

If Iedit the email and hit the sned test button it works, but I Refresh teh window, it goes back to the default email

    Hi Backcountry,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

When editing the Autoresponder email, if your changes are not saving and it reverts to the default after refreshing, here are some important points to consider:

    • Make sure you are clicking the Save button at the bottom of the Autoresponder email editor after making your changes.
    • Try to avoid relying solely on the Send Test button to confirm changes, as it may show the edited content temporarily but not save it permanently.
    • Clear your browser cache and try again, which you have done, so also try using a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues.
    • Ensure that there are no conflicting browser extensions or settings that might prevent saving changes.

If the issue persists, it might be related to a technical problem on the platform side, and our support team may need to investigate further.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi backcountrypix,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Is this the form that you're having issues with? If yes, I tried cloning your form to test it, and everything worked the way it was supposed to, even after I refreshed the page. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    Hi Backcountrypix,

I've checked out the screencast you shared with us. I've cleared your form caches; your forms are now refreshed. Can you delete the existing Autoresponder Email then add the new one back? Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Then, in the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. On the right side of the Autoresponder Email field, click on the Trash Can icon,
    4. After that, click on the Yes Delete button again from the pop-up box to delete the existing Autoresponder Email. Email content are not being saved on the Autoresponse email Image 1 Screenshot 30

Now that we've removed the old Autoresponder Email, we'll just add a new one. Let's do it:

    1. IForm Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. Now, click on Add Email.
    4. Then, select Autoresponder Email, and customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.

    Hi there

It still seems to be defaulting back to the original.

I went in, cleared the old email and then went to the workspace and then back, and it seemed fine.
Then I altered the form and it defaulted back.

i went in and cleared the cache as per above and deleted the email format to rewrite and it keeps defaulting back.

    Hi Backcountrypix,

To further investigate on the issue, can we create a second Autoresponder in your form? You can share with us the content that you are trying to add, and we will add it on our end.

Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.
