Need description on invoice

Hello,

Is there a way to display the product description on the invoice or in the order confirmation email when a customer submits an order? Currently, only the product name is shown, and the description is not included.

I'd like to know if there’s a way to modify this, so the product description appears as well. Could you please let me know if this is possible and how I can make these changes?

Currently, Jotform's invoice feature automatically generates PDF invoices for payment forms, but by default, it only shows the product name and not the product description.

However, you can customize the invoice PDF using the PDF Editor to include additional details like the product description. Here's how you can do it:

1. Enable Invoice in your Product List field settings under the Invoice tab.
2. Preview the Invoice to open the PDF Editor.
3. Customize the PDF by toggling off the Preview PDF switch in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
4. Add a field or text element to the invoice layout where you can manually include the product description or any other details you want to show.

This way, you can modify the invoice layout to display the product description alongside the product name.

Keep in mind that the invoice is attached automatically to notification and autoresponder emails if you select those options in the settings.

Since currently there is no way to show product descriptions on email confirmation or in your submission inbox, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers.
