Hi Thomas,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Currently, there's no way to export the Boards' data. While that feature isn’t available in Jotform right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.

Ok I am really stuck here. I have 120 documents submitted to Jotform that I can't export in any intelligent way. I need to associate the name of the document with the information submitted to Jotform. Eg Paul's submission. Help!

Hi Thomas,
As my colleague mentioned, Jotform does not currently support direct export of board data. That said, you can export all form submissions and uploaded files together using Jotform's Export Data feature. This will generate a ZIP file containing your submission data in CSV format, along with all uploaded documents, making it easy to associate each file with its corresponding submission. Here’s how to do it:
1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right side of the screen.
2. In the menu that opens, click on Settings.
3. Next, in the menu on the left, click on Data.
4. Then, click on Download My Data in the Export Data section.
5. In the window that opens, click on Create New Report.
6. In the Select Time Frame section, choose a date range for the submissions you want to download, or select the All Time option to download all data starting from when your account was created.
7. In the Select Data to Export section, check the boxes next to the data you want to export.
8. Then, click on Prepare Download.
That’s it. Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Yeah but the submission ID in the download does not match the id associated with the file!

If I download attachments I get a file number 6346515038312461283 for example, but the id is 6321288336414770000. So there is no way for me to link the two. Really getting screwed by your system here.

The data download is completely useless, there is no meta data.

Hi Thomas,
Currently, Jotform's data export does not rename uploaded files to match submission IDs, which can lead to confusion when associating files with specific entries. Unfortunately, there is no built-in feature to automatically link uploaded file names with submission metadata in the exported ZIP file.
That said, your request has already been escalated as a feature request by my colleague. While we can't guarantee a timeline for implementation, our team is aware of the need and will consider it for future updates. In the meantime, you may want to manually cross-reference submission data using the CSV file included in the export.
Reach out again and let us know if you have any other questions.
