My form WHL038w has 'attach pdf' on, but the emails sent to training@wanakahelicopters.co.nz does not have the pdf attached. Only the email with the completed form data is received at that address.
Ironically the form email is still received at a supervisor address (mine) (brian.paavo@whft.ac.nz) which is no longer on the recipient list and that email DOES have the form .pdf attached.
Please assist.

It seems that the PDF attachment is enabled on your form WHL038w, but the emails sent to training@wanakahelicopters.co.nz are not receiving the PDF, while your supervisor email still receives it.
Here’s what you can check and do:
- Verify the Email Notification Settings: In Form Builder, go to Settings on the top orange bar.
- Check Emails: On the left panel, click Emails and select the Notification email template that is sent to training@wanakahelicopters.co.nz.
- Enable PDF Attachment: Click the Pencil icon to edit the email, go to the Advanced tab, and ensure the PDF attachment option is enabled.
- Save Changes: Click Save to apply any changes.
If the settings are correct and the issue persists, it might be related to email filtering or recipient-specific email client settings that block attachments.

I tried to include the four screen caps that documented that I've already done this. I've also stated this in my original ticket.

Since the PDF attachment is still being sent to your old supervisor email but not to the new recipient despite the settings being correct, one possible cause could be related to the PDF document version used in the email notifications.
Let me walk you through updating the PDF document to ensure the latest version is attached:
- Open Form Builder: Click the dropdown icon on the upper left side of the page.
- Select PDF Editor: From the dropdown menu, click on the PDF Editor option.
- Add New PDF: Click the Add New PDF button on the blue bar at the top.
- Use Default Layout: On the popup screen, select the Use Default Layout option.
- Delete Old PDF Document: After creating the new PDF document, delete the old PDF document tab to avoid confusion and ensure the new version is used.
This process updates the PDF document that is attached to your email notifications and can resolve issues where an outdated PDF version is being sent.
Try this and see if it resolves the issue with the PDF attachment not being sent to the new recipient.

Hi Brian,
I checked our email logs and found that there were emails sent to training@wanakahelicopters.co.nz that don't have the PDF attachment because the file is more than 5 MB. Currently, we are sending the emails via AWS SES, and it has a total size limitation. The attachment size is limited to 5 MB. This was done to improve the reliability of the email service. If the attachment's total size is more than 5 MB, then the submission emails will be sent without attachments.
As a workaround, you can try to set up your own email address as the sender email by setting up SMTP. Let me walk you through it:
1. Go to the Settings page while logged in to your Jotform account and click on Add Sender Email in the Sender Emails section.
2. In the window that opens, select Custom and click on the Continue button.
3. Enter your email provider's details, click on Send Test Email to check if it’s set up correctly, and then click on Save.
Now you should select your custom SMTP in your email properties under email settings in Form Builder, and if you’re using Workflow Builder, do the same there. Check below to see how it looks in Form Builder:

The one brian.paavo@whft.ac.nz receives is the email from Jotform Sign. Once a user signs your form, you'll receive an email from Jotform Sign. If you don't want to receive an email after a user signs your form, you need to disable the Jotform Sign Automation. Let me show you how to do this:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Jotform Sign from the left side window.
- Toggle off the Enable Jotform Sign Automation option.
Once this is disabled, you'll still be able to collect signatures, but you will not have the following features:
- It will not automatically turn your signed submissions into PDF documents.
- You will not receive an audit trail for each signed document.
- It will enable submission editing.
- It will not require form fillers to give consent for their signatures.
