AI Agent not responding as expected

    I do not have the time to be sent to wrong department like just occurred. I reached out to JotForm about training our AI Agent and got a Enterprise meeting instead? Wasn't helpful and wasted my time, please make sure my ticket gets to the right department.

    Again - I need help with technicality training my AI Agent, not sales, no interested in upgrading my plan. Just the department who answers questions on training AI Agents.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Looks like the link of your website didn't come through on my end. Can you send it again? Also, can you share a bit more about training your AI Agent? If you want to train it using the information that you find on your webpage, let me show you how to set it up:

    1. In AI Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train.

    2. Then, in the Knowledge Base section, select Link.

    3. Next, enter the URL of the website where you want the AI Agent to get the information from, and click on Crawl.

    4. Select the links that you want your AI Agent to extract information from, and click on Save.

If you have more than one URL on your website, you can repeat this process, and select the unselected URLs in your previous set-up. Also, remember that your AI Agent can only extract information from publicly available URLs. You can also check our guide about How to Train an AI Agent with URLs to learn more.

    OK - I am trying to train the agent to do some basic math with customers asks for a estimate, example: cabinets are 170 $ per linear foot - customer would share with agent their linear footage and then agent would do some basic math [40 linear ft x 170] = 6800$. I have tried training my agent to do this basic math but it continiues to ge confused.

    Communication flow as follows

    Agetn greets customer on website and gives them option "button" to get a online estimate.

    person clicks onine estimate > then agent is instructed to asks them for their linear footage and also thare the calculating tool for them to do themself if they want.

    if customer chooses to share their linear footage > then agent is instructed to mention that we cover all sales tax on jobs that we professionally install and ask of cusotmer would like their cabinets to be istalled?

    if yes > then agent is intructed to calcualte the linear footage given and calcuate the installd, add both togther and give them their estimate and thank them for their interest then ask if they would liek to move forward.

    if yes > agent is to then lead them through our jotfrom onboarding new customer form and submit so we get their info in inbox.


    this flow seems to not work annd agent gets confused, asking if they would liek install multiple times - sometimes skipping the estimate adn going directly to asking for them to fill out the form.

    Currently, Jotform AI Agents are designed to automate tasks and answer questions based on training data and predefined flows, but complex conditional logic and calculations like multiplying user input by a fixed price and then adding installation costs may require careful setup in the AI Agent Builder.

    Can you send us the link of your AI Agent? Also, if you can send us a short screen recording of the steps you’re taking, it’ll help us pinpoint the issue. Loom, Google Drive, or Dropbox links all work fine.

    Once we hear back from you, we can help you sort this out.

    I tested your form and had the same issue, so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.
